Qima One

Adapting the product to unlock agent performance

Agent performance

Ensuring garment quality requires speed and precision. In the field, however, constraints quickly pile up.

QIMA conducts inspections based on destination-country regulations and quality standards defined upstream by its clients.

This means navigating heterogeneous standards, complex procedures, and a strong need for adaptability (often in noisy, high-pressure environments).

The challenges faced stem both from on-site constraints and from the cultural diversity of agents, who are accustomed to very different UX standards.

Impact

Improved team efficiency, with a significant time gain.

An average 18% reduction in time spent on the “measurements” step during inspections, while maintaining a similar level of completion and quality.

My role : In house Product Designer

I worked on the agent performance and the inspection booking interfaces.

My responsibilities included:

Led UX strategy and discovery

Owned the experience acrross Qima One app and its dependencies

Structured and scaled the discovery methods

Objectives

Improve inspection efficiency without compromising accuracy

Reduce cognitive load during on-site inspections

Better support agents operating in constrained, noisy, and high-pressure environments

Adapt the interface to diverse user profiles and heterogeneous UX standards across regions

Achievements

An implementation strategy for a reliable measurement interface

Led the analysis of inspection funnel performance using quantitative and qualitative data

Conducted field research with inspectors and operational managers

Mapped end-to-end user journeys to identify friction points

Designed and facilitated focus groups to validate hypotheses and iterate on solutions

Take advantage of existing usage

In complex B2B2E environments, breaking workflows into smaller pieces doesn’t always make users more efficient.

Instead of redesigning in abstraction, I start by deeply understanding existing practices (including workarounds, shortcuts, and pain points) to build solutions that align with real-world constraints and habits.

Understand a whole system

Agent efficiency comes with clients satisfaction.

More control, less perceived complexity

Rather than hiding complexity, I focus on structuring it.
